Max's Sinigang Festival

Starting June 25, 2008, Food enthusiasts who are looking for the quintessential Filipino dish, yet a novel dining experience are given a refreshing drive to frequent Max's as this homegrown, all-time favorite restaurant introduces 16 different ways of serving sinigang.

Undoubtedly a favorite dish among Filipinos, sinigang is known for its distinctively sour and tangy flavor. It has a consistent appeal to local diners, across gender, age and economic status - a compelling reason for restaurants to add at least one variation of this traditionally home-cooked dish on their menu.

Max's has added a thrill to diners' gastronomical experience as it offers a wide variety of options aimed at satisfying the discriminating palate of sinigang enthusiasts.

Max's now offers mouthwatering variations made from ingredients that customers can liberally mix and match. Sinigang fanatics may choose from four broth variants for an intensified or tempered sourness: sampaloc (unripe tamarind), manga (green mango), pi?a (green pineapple) and kamias (belimbi). These new soup base selections complement Max's four classic sinigang dishes: Sinigang na Hipon (Shrimp Sinigang), Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus (Bangus Belly Sinigang), Sinigang na Baboy (Pork Sinigang) and Sinigang na Tiyan at Ulo ng Salmon (Premium Norwegian Salmon Head and Belly Sinigang), and are served with a healthy slew of fresh vegetables such as radish, kangkong, eggplant, string beans, tomatoes, okra and onions.

Ignited by the desire to create a new and exciting experience for its patrons, Max's continues to push the boundaries as it changes the way sinigang is being served to customers through an inventive, yet very much traditional way.

Served steaming hot and complemented by Max's "sarap to the bones" chicken, sinigang makes a filling meal for professionals and home-based customers who may also order this dish by dialing Max's Delivery hotline, 7-9000 (available within Metro Manila).

Max's, one of the most successful brands today, continue to be the country's pride as it gears towards being a global brand in the next few years. Max's recipes have been intricately developed for 62 years and given a modern twist to cater to the increasingly discerning tastes of customers.
